Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painter & Decorator to bring spaces to life through expert painting, finishing, and decorative techniques. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, caulking, filling, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and specialty finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.
- Perform commercial and residential painting tasks across diverse environments, adapting techniques for each setting.
- Maintain safety standards on-site by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to construction site protocols.
Additional Responsibilities
- Helping to complete marketing tasks such as, leaflet drops, outreach, Google & Facebook Ads and idea generation.
- Regular content creation for social media channels. This will include basic photography & videography.
- Social media management and content generation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting with a strong background in residential and commercial projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial equipment such as airless sprayers.
- Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments.
- Additional trade skills such as plastering or carpentry are a plus but not required.
- Basic social media marketing knowledge.
- Familiar with camera techniques for photography and videography responsibilities.
- Google & Facebook Ad experience desirable but not essential.
