An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our Clinical Negligence department.
Our team acts exclusively for individuals and families who have suffered harm as a result of substandard medical treatment. We are committed to securing access to justice and achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients during what can often be a challenging and emotional time.

The role
- The role will primarily involve working on new and potential instructions and duties will include:
- Managing and assessing new client enquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Gathering key information from prospective clients and preparing detailed summaries for fee earners.
- Supporting the investigation of potential claims, including reviewing medical records and identifying relevant issues.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing updates throughout the lifecycle of their matter.
- Drafting correspondence, attendance notes and other legal documents.
- Assisting with the preparation of medical records, evidence bundles and court documentation.
- Liaising with medical experts, counsel, healthcare providers and other third parties.
- Supporting solicitors with case management, litigation procedures and trial preparation where required.
- Assisting with complaint investigations and responses involving healthcare providers.
- Attending conferences, client meetings and court hearings as appropriate.
