We are recruiting for a Maintenance Facilities Supervisor to join our busy team based at our state-of-the-art facility in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Main responsibilities:
- You will be required to manage a team of operatives to ensure compliance and professional cost-effective service delivery is maintained
- Assist with the recruitment and supervision of staff
- Produce rotas for the operative team
- Lead on fault finding investigations and proposals for resolutions
- Regular review of processes and procedures to seek continuous improvement
- Implement quality control mechanisms to ensure planned and reactive works are being carried out correctly
- Install clean and tidy standards throughout the team engineering stores and plant Rooms
- Accurate and regular upkeep of specific compliance logs
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS)Responsibilities document.
Desired skills & knowledge:
- Previous experience of mechanical & electrical/plumbing works preferably within a facilities background with extensive supervisory experience and be capable of covering for the Facilities Manager when necessary
- Conversant with computerised maintenance management systems (shire system-pirana)
- Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
- IT literate with excellent communication skills
