Scheme Manager – Part Time

Ely

£16,905 - £17,428 per year

24 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a part time Scheme Manager to join our Housing Operations team, based in Ely. As a Scheme Manager you will be responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service which will include providing tenancy advice, following up repairs for residents and promoting independent living. This is a rewarding role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management or care setting and aware of safeguarding concerns.

The role of Scheme Manager will include:

Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence
Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion
Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
Maintaining accurate records about residents and the scheme
Covering other schemes as and when required

Skills and experiences:

Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
Good interpersonal and customer care skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
