Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career. This role offers the chance to learn, build confidence, and develop valuable skills within a supportive and experienced team. As part of the IBA function, you will assist with reconciling ledgers and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time. You will receive full training and ongoing support from knowledgeable colleagues, providing an excellent foundation for a successful career in insurance finance and operations. Role Accountabilities

Reconciliation of monthly Underwriter (insurer) statements and ledgers.
Release of Bureaux Delinked Signing messages.
Allocation of payable ledger items.
Process and arrange Underwriter payments.
Control, monitor and review outstanding payables with prompt resolution of queries.
Responsible for resolution and escalation of queries with internal colleagues, including Processing Teams and Claims, as well as external parties such as Underwriters.
Complete ad hoc duties as requested by management.
Undertake any additional duties as required.

Role Requirements

Previous experience within an Accounts, Finance, or Insurance Broking Accounts function would be advantageous, although not essential.

Skills and Abilities

High level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet processing SLAs and deadlines.
A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.
