Since our establishment in 1987, we have become one of London’s leading private waste management and recycling companies. Our clients range from individuals undertaking home improvements to multinational corporations involved in large construction projects.
Our operations are run from our two state-of-the-art waste recycling facilities in Edmonton and Enfield in North London. Due to fleet expansion, we are looking for HGV2 drivers to join our Skip Hire team.
We are a FORS Gold accredited company that strives to maintain the highest standards for our customers, with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
Each day is different for our skip truck drivers who make deliveries and collections throughout London and the Home Counties at a mixture of residential and commercial sites. All work is coordinated through our advanced fleet management system
Candidates must possess a valid HGV/LGV licence and a current Driver CPC A good working knowledge of drivers hours regulations and a good level of written and spoken English is essential. While experience in the waste industry is advantageous, we provide full training to suitable candidates. We also offer ongoing training, including Driver CPC and any other necessary industry training.
There is no shift work or loading the waste in to skips by our drivers.
Some of our trucks have manual gearboxes so you must be licensed and able to drive one
Our vehicle fleet is mainly under 4 years old and is equipped with high-spec vehicles. The contracted working hours are from 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with no overnight shifts.
Some Saturday work is available usually from 6am to 1pm and is paid as overtime
Due to insurance terms we can only accept drivers over 25 who have held a HGV licence for at least 12 months
