This is an excellent opportunity for licensed security professionals looking for a varied and rewarding role in mobile security operations. Working across a range of environments, you will be responsible for responding to incidents, conducting patrols, securing premises, and ensuring client sites remain safe, compliant, and protected.
No two shifts are the same. One day you may be responding to an alarm activation at a commercial premises; the next, conducting scheduled inspections at vacant properties, carrying out compliance checks, or supporting visible deterrent patrols.
The Role
As a Mobile Response & Patrol Officer, your responsibilities may include:
- Responding to alarm activations and emergency call-outs
- Conducting mobile and foot patrols across client sites
- Carrying out locking and unlocking duties for commercial and residential premises
- Conducting high-visibility patrols to deter anti-social behaviour, trespassing, theft, and criminal damage
- Performing scheduled vacant (void) property inspections, A key part of this role includes carrying out vacant property inspections to ensure buildings remain secure, safe, and compliant.
- Completing compulsory fire alarm tests and emergency lighting checks in line with site schedules and client requirements
- Resetting fire and intruder alarm systems where authorised
- Conducting dynamic risk assessments and identifying hazards or vulnerabilities
- Producing accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and site records
- Escalating incidents and maintaining communication with the Control Room
- Supporting the safety of clients, members of the public, contractors, and colleagues
Accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential in this role.
What We’re Looking ForEssential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Confident and competent driver
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional approach with excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in dynamic situations
Desirable Experience
- Mobile patrol, keyholding, or alarm response experience
- Previous experience within the private security industry
- Experience in lone working or professional driving roles

- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off (overtime available)
- Shift Length: 10–12 hour shifts depending on operational requirements
