Full job description

Job Summary

We are a busy buffet restaurant looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-time Trainee Supervisor. This position is ideal for someone who wants to develop leadership skills in the restaurant industry. You will receive on-the-job training to supervise daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high service standards in our buffet setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in supervising front-of-house operations during peak hours
Independently cover various service stations including Cashier, Bar, and Host duties when required
Lead and guide service staff to ensure smooth buffet service
Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer feedback or complaints
Monitor food presentation, buffet line replenishment, and cleanliness
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and restaurant standards
Train and support new team members
Assist with table management, guest seating, and flow control
Support the management team in daily operations and special events
Perform opening and closing duties as required

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant or F&B service (at least 6 months preferred)
Strong leadership potential and good communication skills
Passionate about customer service and teamwork
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced buffet environment
Good command of spoken English
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Positive attitude, responsible, and eager to learn
