Barkin' Fresh Dog Groomers are seeking a skilled Dog Groomer to join our team based in Petersfield, Hampshire in providing professional grooming services to our clients' beloved pets. If you have a passion for animals and possess grooming expertise, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, handstripping and styling pets according to owners' preferences for all breeds and sizes
- Assess each dog's condition and choose appropriate grooming techniques and products
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Provide excellent customer service by consulting with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area and equipment
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues and report findings to pet owners
- Effectively booking and managing appointments with clients
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- 2+ years previous experience in dog grooming
- Minimum Level 3 qualified
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, temperaments, and specific grooming needs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners
- A confident and positive approach to handling dogs
- A positive attitude
