Full job description

Production Assistant – Signage

- Bordon, Hampshire
- Full-time, Permanent
- 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm)
- £25,000 – £29,000 per year (depending on experience)

About Us

We are an established and growing signage manufacturer based in Bordon, supplying high-quality signage solutions primarily to the development and construction sectors. Working from our combined office and production facility, we design, manufacture, and deliver a wide range of signage products for sites across the UK. As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for a Production Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team.

The Role

This is a practical, hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be closely involved in the production process, working with a variety of machinery and materials to help create finished signage products. Duties will include:

Operating large format printers, cutters and vinyl application equipment (full training provided).
Assisting with the manufacture and finishing of signage products.
Carrying out quality control checks.
Preparing, packaging, and dispatching completed signage.
Undertaking workshop and prep tasks such as painting, sawing, drilling and assembling.
Keeping the workspace clean, organised, and safe

About You

No previous signage experience is required – we’ll provide full training. However, we’re looking for someone who:

Has a positive, can-do attitude and is keen to learn new skills
Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Is practical and confident using tools and working in a hands-on environment
Has good computer skills and is comfortable picking up new systems
Has strong attention to detail, particularly when checking finished work
Can manage their time effectively and stay organised in a fast-moving environment
Communicates well with colleagues and contributes to a positive team atmosphere
Has a good sense of humour and enjoys being part of a friendly workplace

Please note this role involves manual handling, including lifting heavier items and working on your feet throughout the day. Experience in signage, print, or a similar manufacturing/production role would be an advantage but is not essential.
