Inventory Clerk – Self-Employed Contractor

Location: Sheffield & South Yorkshire
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Training: Full Training Provided

About miServices

miServices is a leading provider of property inspection services across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for reliable, professional and motivated Inventory Clerks to join our team in Sheffield and the surrounding South Yorkshire area.

We operate Monday to Saturday and provide the support of a dedicated office team, ensuring our clerks can focus on delivering high-quality reports and excellent customer service.

Using our bespoke mobile app, appointments and instructions are sent directly to your diary. All we ask is that you keep us informed of your availability in advance.

The Role

We work with established estate agents, property management companies, build-to-rent operators and private landlords, carrying out a range of property inspection services across residential properties.

These include:

Inventories
Check-Ins
Check-Outs
Mid-Term Inspections

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out property inventories, check-ins, check-outs and mid-term inspections
Producing detailed and accurate reports using our software
Taking high-quality photographs to support written observations
Collecting and returning keys when required
Travelling to properties throughout Sheffield and South Yorkshire
Liaising professionally with tenants, landlords, agents and property managers
Submitting reports accurately and within agreed timescales

Requirements

Professional and reliable attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Comfortable using smartphones and have access to one.
Ability to travel regularly throughout the region
Full UK driving licence
Access to your own vehicle with business-use insurance
Previous inventory experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
