Job Summary
Kinderview Nursery Glossop are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher / Early Years Professional or well qualified and highly experienced Level 3 Practitioner to join our Preschool team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 4 years, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love of learning. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early education while working within a supportive and professional setting. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a genuine interest in childcare and early childhood education.

The post has only become available due to the relocation of one of our amazing preschool team.
The nursery is located on the site of St Margaret's Catholic Primary School. Our preschool is located in a fabulous purpose built self contained 'eco-pod'.
We welcome any applicants with a Level 3 Early Years Qualification that would like to further their skills through training e.g. EYT or NPQEYL
Kinderview Nursery welcomes applications for those practitioners with a Forest School Qualification. We currently employ a qualified Forest School practitioner who works in the preschool 2 days per week. This new position could involve Forest School (subject to relevant qualifications and or experience).
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Supervise and support children during play, learning sessions, and mealtime
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor and record children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and organise activities that meet individual needs
- Manage classroom resources efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff or interns when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all policies related to childcare standards and early years education
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong management skills with the ability to organise activities effectively
- Leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., CACHE Level 3 or equivalent) are essential
- Ability to work flexibly within the hours of 7.30am until 6pm Monday to Friday

Pay: £30,030.00-£34,320.00 per year
