The job itself, teamworking, enthusiastic, passionate colleagues, working in South Derbyshire and City.

The post holder will be working within a community older adult crisis mental health service, providing specialist assessment and treatment to service users with a range of health conditions.

In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to the person's diagnosis and identified needs.

You will be able to manage a diverse caseload and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, giving you the opportunity to work with CPNs, Inpatient Wards, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and other disciplines within the team.

You will be involved in service development and quality improvement projects as we develop OT pathways across the organisation, build links with our partnership organisations in the community.

You will be part of the wider Occupational Therapy Community in Derbyshire Healthcare, contributing to CPD events, practice development opportunities and workforce development.

You will be involved in the development of our support staff.

We are a 7 day a week service, (Flexible pattern: 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday Sat/Sun and Bank Holidays 09:00 - 17:00 over a 12-week period, or a 12-week pattern of Mon to Fri 08:00 - 16:00 or 12:00 - 20:00.

As an employer and sponsor licence holder, to be able to provide sponsorship to overseas nationals via the Skilled Worker route we must ensure that we adhere to the sponsorship requirements set by UK Visa’s and Immigration. Please note that as the current salary threshold is £25,000 it is unlikely we will be able to offer sponsorship for this post as without 2 years previous NHS Service at Band 3 you will commence at the bottom of the pay band which currently does not meet the minimum salary requirement for sponsorship (bank and agency service is excluded). This would apply to anyone who has current time limited right to work in the UK and would require sponsorship in the near future commencing at the bottom of the band.
