An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive purchasing professional within our procurement team team in Bath.
We are looking for an individual to work closely with the Production Manager to support forecasting and help ensure the on-time supply of greetings cards and related components.
The role involves building an understanding of supplier capabilities, production capacity, and customer requirements, improving shipping efficiency, including container fill and scheduling, coordinating reprints and new launches, maintaining accurate and up-to-date system data and offering support across the department.
We are looking for someone who can ensure accuracy and clarity at all times, has strong Excel skills, is a great communicator with a methodical approach and great attention to detail.
Experience in procurement, buying, forecasting and/or stock level monitoring is essential, and experience in an FMCG environment would be advantageous.
