Overview

Join our dynamic bodyshop team as a MET TECH dedicated to restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for performing metal repairs, frame straightening, and panel replacements using a variety of tools and techniques. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be essential in delivering high-quality results efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated technicians eager to contribute to a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment where every detail counts.

Duties

Use hand tools and power tools to perform metal repairs, including cutting, grinding, welding, and shaping
Conduct frame straightening and alignment to manufacturer specifications using specialized equipment
Remove damaged panels and replace them with new or repaired parts, ensuring proper fit and finish
Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely and effectively
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout the repair process
Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer expectations

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and repair techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, pry bars, wrenches, and screwdrivers
Experience with power tools including grinders, drills, welders, and pneumatic tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry best practices
