Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and proactive Weekend Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting products, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience during weekend hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for retail. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales skills and gain valuable retail experience in a vibrant environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their enquiries in a professional manner
Promote products through upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
Manage social media platforms by posting updates and engaging with followers to enhance brand presence
Organise merchandise displays to attract customer attention and optimise sales potential
Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering calls and assisting remote customers
Assist with stock replenishment and ensure the sales floor remains tidy and well-organised
Support the team in achieving daily sales targets and maintaining high standards of customer service

Experience

Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers confidently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Experience in social media management is a plus for contributing to our online presence
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks during weekend shifts to ensure smooth operations
Knowledge of merchandising principles will be beneficial in creating appealing displays

Pay: £150.00-£300.00 per day
