Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Room Leader to oversee and nurture our Baby Room. In this vital role, you will lead a team of early childhood educators, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for infants. Your leadership will foster positive development, promote effective communication with parents, and uphold high standards of childcare. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in nursery care and a genuine love for working with young children to make a meaningful impact every day.

Duties

Lead and manage the daily operations of the Baby Room, ensuring smooth and efficient activities
Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to promote professional growth
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate infants’ physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
Ensure all childcare practices meet regulatory standards and company policies
Keep detailed records of children's development, attendance, and incident reports as required

Qualifications

Proven management and leadership experience in early childhood education or nursery settings
Extensive experience working with children, particularly infants in a childcare or nursery environment
Strong knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety standards, and early childhood development principles
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
Demonstrated ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and professionalism
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred
Valid driving license is advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities
