Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a <PERSON>/trainee. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in various construction and masonry trades. The role involves hands-on learning under the supervision of experienced professionals, with a focus on developing skills in multiple areas such as bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, and welding. The successful candidate will be paid for their work and training, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to start a career in the building industry.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and organisation of building sites, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Support skilled tradespeople in tasks involving hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
Learn and perform bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks under supervision.
Help with the installation of structural components and finishing work.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Carry out basic measurements and assist with material handling as directed.
Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.

Experience

No prior experience necessary; training will be provided on-site.
Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or previous exposure to construction environments is advantageous but not essential.
A keen interest in masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is desirable.
Willingness to learn new skills and undertake physical tasks as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail are beneficial for progressing within the role. Pay: £60.00-£80.00 per day
