Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Baker to join the NØT Bakery team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in bakery production and preparation within a professional kitchen environment. The successful candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, supporting the culinary team to deliver high-quality pastries while ensuring food safety standards are maintained. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about baking and eager to gain practical experience in a production bakery.

Responsibilities

Assist with bakery preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior bakers.
Help with baking tasks as required, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Prepare ingredients and assist in finishing pastries.
Support inventory management by notifying of stock shortages.
Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with colleagues

Skills

Basic knowledge of food production and preparation techniques.
Experience or interest in cooking, baking, or culinary arts.
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Previous bakery or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work efficiently under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior staff.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
