Company background

Andra Trading (Andra) is one of the largest wholesalers of fine jewellery in the UK, supplying major high street jewellery retailers, such as H Samuel, F Hinds and Ramsdens as well as several online-only retailers such as Very.co.uk.

In addition to its role as a trusted supplier to these big businesses, Andra also trades directly with the public under its own brands.

Role

The role is an assistant role, with a minimum 6 month contract (possibly leading to permanent)

We are looking to recruit a positive, hardworking individual who has a love for jewellery to join our direct dispatch team.

The direct dispatch department is responsible for shipping thousands of pieces of jewellery directly to our customers every year. You will be focusing on printing and packing orders, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring quality control before shipments are dispatched.

We believe every piece we ship carries a meaningful sentiment, and we’re looking for someone to join our Team to help ensure our customers receive their orders with care and precision.

The successful candidate will be someone who not only works efficiently under pressure but also approaches each order with care and accuracy, recognizing the personal significance behind every piece of jewellery.

Key Responsibilities:

Printing daily orders across multiple platforms
Process, pick & pack customer orders across all online platforms, ensuring all orders are processed and dispatched on time.
Personalise jewellery by engraving items as required.
Inspect and process customer returns, giving great customer care for website orders
Manage stock control tasks, including conducting stock takes and organizing new stock lines.
Assist with customer service, liaising with corporate customers and resolving any order-related enquiries.
Quality control

Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:

A genuine interest in jewellery and previous workplace experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Positive, friendly and approachable manner
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with order/dispatch software is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft systems

We offer comprehensive training to help you excel in this role and gain the skills necessary to support your success at Andra.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideally the candidate will hold the following qualifications, but doing so is not a pre-requisite in applying for this role.

GCSEs: 5 grades A* - C, including English and Maths.
Prior experience in a similar role
Computer literacy is essential, comfortable using Excel, Outlook and Word.
