General Manager Required
HRE Catering Ltd – Gledrid, Oswestry
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hands-on General Manager to lead our busy café team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous hospitality or café management experience who enjoys leading by example and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the café.
- Managing the day-to-day running of the business.
- Leading and supporting the café team.
- Food preparation and serving customers when required.
- Stock control and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.
- Cash handling and till reconciliation.
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Carrying out all duties associated with the smooth operation of a busy café.
Requirements
- Previous café, restaurant or hospitality management experience is essential.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts.
Hours
We are open 7 days a week, with a variety of shifts available, including mornings, days and weekends. Flexibility is essential, as shifts are worked on a rota basis.
