As we continue to make a difference to our communities, and continued growth within our service we are looking for an Assistant Housing and Compliance Manager to join the team at The Maples. As an Assistant Housing and Compliance Manager. You will work closely with the Asset Manager to ensure we have a portfolio of high-quality accommodation that meets the needs of the people we support. You will ensure the team are managed effectively and in line with legislation, best practice, internal governance, quality assurance arrangements and local authority contracts as well as supporting continued service expansion and development.

What will you be doing?
- Ensure team carries out all required risk assessments
- Ensure that property inspections to manage health and safety, cleanliness and maintenance requirements are carried out
- Support Property Management team to develop and manage of a program of planned and reactive maintenance to ensure all properties meet minimum standards
- Assess and arrange property adaptations to meet the needs of licensee’s (including aesthetics and feel)
- Oversee and aid with licensee movements into, within and out of the Maples
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the license agreement (inclusive of its clauses and conditions) to be able to manage and enforce where required
- Oversee rent collections and debt management
- Execute NTQ or court process procedures in line with senior management direction
- Work closely with licensee's community support team to safeguard placements
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with the care and support providers, ensuring responsibilities are understood and that are addressed appropriately
- Proactively arrange relets to minimise void loss by working closely with the Compass Team, and Property Management Team.
- Organise tenancy terminations and sign-ups for tenants with the involvement of Court of Protection and Advocacy services as appropriate
- Organise and attend accompanied viewings with new and prospective tenants
- Organise void property processes, ensuring that the empty properties are clean and tidy for the incoming tenant
- Liaising with local housing authorities and benefits departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of rents, charges, and other income in respect of housing services
