At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose to improve people’s lives.

Are you passionate about driving action on climate change? This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic team for a Local Authority that has tackling the Climate and Ecological Emergency as a core focus of its work.

About the Role

The role will drive change across the organisation, building on existing climate action to embed the Council's new Climate and Nature Strategy which is due for publication later this year. You will work closely with teams across different service areas within the Council, as well as elected Members and external organisations.

About You

The role will suit someone who has considerable experience and expertise in climate mitigation policy and practice, has excellent attention to details but is also a strategic thinker and great communicator.
