Full job description

Due to a strong and sustained period of organic growth, Elliot and Co LLP, are looking to recruit to further strengthen and future proof our team.

We are pleased to be recruiting for the position of Accounts Apprentice/Assistant.

Your job will be varied across all parts of the business. You can expect to gain experience in the following areas:

· Accounts preparation from basic accounting records including invoices and receipts.

· Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns

· Payroll

· Day to day correspondence and communication with our clients.

The perfect candidate would be either a school leaver at 16 or 18 with GSCEs or A Levels, showing a strong ability in either Maths or Business Studies/Accountancy, or a University Leaver with a degree in Accounting and Finance or something of a similar nature.

We appreciate that you may be awaiting your results, and are happy to take into account your mock results.

Alternatively, if you have started your AAT training and are looking for an apprenticeship, then this will also make you a strong candidate.
