About the Role
Are you practical, hands-on and confident using tools? We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Case Packer to join our small manufacturing team at TNA UK Manufacturing in Birmingham. This is an important role where you will prepare and pack our completed large machinery for safe shipping to customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble cases to the required specification, ensuring machinery is protected and secure for transport.
- Use forklifts, cranes and conveyors, where appropriate, to move products safely into position.
- Pack machinery into cases and onto pallets, using suitable internal blocking and protection.
- Keep the packing area safe, clean and organised, working in line with health and safety standards.
- Build high-quality wooden cases and crates, including selecting, measuring and cutting timber using saws and hand tools when required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a similar packing, carpentry, woodworking or manufacturing role would be an advantage.
- Confident using hand tools, drills and wood-cutting equipment.
- Able to read basic designs, check measurements and work accurately to specification.
- A careful, quality-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- A positive team attitude and willingness to support colleagues in a busy manufacturing environment
