About the role

Allium is a specialist environmental and asbestos consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, compliant services across a range of sectors. We're seeking a highly organised Project Manager to take the lead role as an Allium Representative and support on sites which involves Asbestos Air Testing. This is a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

Working alongside key clients to ensure that project progression stays on track.
Completing daily air tests and reporting back to Allium Management and the client contact.
Providing a watching brief throughout projects and reporting observations.
Sampling of suspect asbestos-containing materials as required.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of asbestos and other relevant legislation, guidance and industry best practice.
Ensuring adherence to UKAS accreditation requirements and quality management standards.
Adherence to strict health and safety requirements on a secure site.
Following all internal procedures and policies at all times.
Remaining flexible as the role may evolve as the projects develop.

About you

Demonstrable experience adhering to health and safety requirements on secure or controlled sites.
Confident and self-motivated when working independently.
Acts as a professional and trustworthy representative of Allium with key clients.
Strong communicator, comfortable engaging with clients, contractors and colleagues at all levels.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail with regards to air testing and sample data reporting.
Able to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
P403 and P404 required. P402 desirable but not essential.

Hours and location

Southampton-based, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Working hours: 07:30–16:30 these hours may differ slightly depending on the site.

Salary: from £34,000.00 depending on experience — we are happy to discuss this further at interview.
