Operations/Purchasing Administrator

Due to business growth, we are looking for a motivated and proactive administration professional to join our busy team.
The role will include:
- Collating purchase orders and purchase requisitions to order materials, goods and supplies daily
- Daily online ordering
- Dealing with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
- Monitoring and reviewing pricing levels to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall category strategy
- Tracking the status of any orders
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement to processes
- Fully utilise the ERP system for purchasing and pricing
- Maintaining suppliers’ records, profiles and product details on the database
- Monitoring current supply routes to ensure efficiency and service quality is maintained
- Keeping management team up to date on all relevant issues
- Dealing with supplier returns
The ideal candidate will have:
- In depth understanding of modern administration
- Commercial acumen
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Keen eye for detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
Hours: Full Time, Mon - Fri, 08:30 -5:30 (other hours could be accommodated)
£14.50 per hour
