Do you enjoy working with children and creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment? We’re looking for a friendly and caring Crèche Assistant to join our team and help deliver an excellent experience for families using our facilities.
About the Role:
As a Crèche Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring children are happy, safe, and well-cared for while their parents or carers enjoy Ffit Conwy’s facilities. You’ll help create a stimulating and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing high-quality care and supervision for children at all times
- Creating a fun, safe, and inclusive crèche environment
- Setting up and tidying away activities and equipment
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and safety
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
- Promoting a friendly, helpful, and customer-focused service
- Identifying and reporting any health & safety concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to supervise and engage children in activities
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare (or willingness to achieve)
- Understanding of health and safety in a childcare setting
- Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- A positive, friendly, and caring approach
- Strong communication skills (Welsh language skills are a bonus!)
- Enhanced DBS check required
