Full job description

We are looking to recruit a breakfast/commis chef for the hotel. Breakfast is served buffet style breakfast each day.

The hotel also has 2 restaurants. Part of the role of breakfast chef will be to assist in the preparation for the evening menu for both of these restaurants, and shifts are available to serve these guests in the evening.

Duties will include assisting in the ordering, preparation and cooking of the menu.
Ensure that dishes are prepared as per agreed guidelines, whether this be for breakfast or dinner, reducing wastage where possible. questions about ingredients & allergens
Follow Food Safety guidelines with regards to records, storage and temperature control.
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or any other similar roles, ideally from a hotel/restaurant background.
Excellent communication skills in all aspects.
Good organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail.

This is a full time permanent position.

The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
