Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a solid background in restaurant or hotel settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure food safety standards, and deliver memorable experiences for our guests. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with previous supervisory experience in food service or hospitality.

Responsibilities

Supervise front of house staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards
Oversee food presentation and service quality, assisting with food preparation and cooking when necessary
Manage hotel reservations, restaurant arrangements, and guest flow to optimise efficiency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly
Coordinate with kitchen staff to facilitate seamless food production and delivery
Assist in training new team members and conducting performance evaluations
Monitor stock levels of front of house supplies

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example
Prior experience in serving, hospitality, or culinary roles is highly desirable
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in managing hotel reservations and guest services
Previous experience in bar management is advantageous but not essential
A professional attitude combined with excellent communication skills
