Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Holiday Home Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of holiday rental properties to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for thorough cleaning, organising, and ensuring all properties meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with flexible hours suited to seasonal demands.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise all areas of holiday homes, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces as required.
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries to ensure guest comfort.
Conduct detailed inspections of properties before guest arrival to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
Manage waste disposal in accordance with environmental standards.
Restock supplies such as cleaning products, toiletries, and consumables to maintain readiness for guest turnover.
Report any damages or repairs needed to the management team promptly.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained consistently.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads based on seasonal demands.
