Watson Gym Equipment is a highly successful gym equipment manufacturer established in 1999 that is growing exponentially year to year. We manufacture a wide range of specialist Gym Equipment right here in Frome for both Gyms and private clients, exporting worldwide.

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a Machine Shop Assistant to join our team in a modern, cutting-edge machine shop based in Frome. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing business, supporting skilled machinists with clear progression opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading materials
Assisting machinists with day-to-day tasks as required
Assisting with loading kits
Denesting components
General support duties within the machine shop

The Ideal Candidate:

Comfortable working to tight deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Forward-thinking with a proactive attitude
Reliable, organised, and keen to learn
An interest in strength training or keeping fit is advantageous but not essential

Development & Progression:

Future opportunities to learn machine setting and operation
Hands-on training alongside experienced machinists
Potential to progress into a machine operator role for the right individual

Monday - Thursday - 8AM – 5PM
