Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will support the development and well-being of children by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Responsibilities

Assist with daily activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
Support teachers or caregivers in implementing educational programs and play-based learning activities
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by maintaining a vigilant environment
Engage children in creative play, reading, and learning exercises to stimulate their curiosity and growth
Help with meal times, snacks, and maintaining hygiene standards in accordance with health guidelines
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences

Skills

Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
Excellent communication skills in Welsh or Bilingual
Ability to drive safely and responsibly, with a valid driver’s license preferred
Experience in teaching, nannying, or childcare roles demonstrating patience and adaptability
Knowledge of safety protocols, health standards, and emergency procedures in childcare settings
Passionate about nurturing children’s growth through engaging teaching methods and caring interactions
