White Space Creative are looking for an Experienced Exhibition Carpenter/ Bench Joiner to join our team, to assist in the building and manufacturing of various National and International Projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be joining our team as an Experienced Exhibition Carpenter.
This role will involve working on projects from start to finish. From the initial workshop build through to the site installation. It is expected that you will be comfortable using workshop machinery, working individually and as part of the workshop team and confident in your skillset. Our projects are highly diverse in content, style and design, making this a varied and exciting role. This require not only experience but a passion for your craft and we are looking for a Carpenter that is at the forefront of their skillset.
We have worked with some huge names and are recognized as a high-quality business throughout the industry. You must have pride in the work turned out and a keen eye for detail and quality.
This role is varied multiskilled, offering diversity to your job.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience within the Exhibition and Events industry.
- Be comfortable using Table Saws, Hand Tools and an understanding of CNC Processes and machinery.
- Laminate and finish built components to the required standards.
- A good understanding of graphic processes, electrical installations and Audio-visual equipment.
- High standards of working as well as setting high standards for the completed projects.
- Great personal skills, to work within a team of people with different skills, as well as the ability to liaise with clients.
- Accurate and precise
- Comfortable being away from home for up to a week on occasions.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to travel abroad

- Flexi-rota, minimum of 42.5 hour a week.
- £18.00 - £24.00 per hour (negotiable with experience and skillset)

Please be aware that this job can be demanding. The successful candidate will be required to work paid overtime and/or weekends during the busy period of the year.
