ROLE: Support Worker

LOCATION: Sandy (SG19 1EL)

SALARY: £14.05 - £14.75* per hour

HOURS: 40 hours a week,

SHIFTS: Day 7pm-7am or 8pm-8am

About Sheridan House

Sheridan House successfully supports 9 individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism. One thing that is guaranteed is that joining our team at Sheridan House will be fulfilling, fun and rewarding, offering you stability with the opportunity to grow and develop your career further.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
Assisting with personal care as required.
Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
