We're the team iGaming operators turn to when growth matters most — and we're growing fast ourselves. At Receptional, you'll find colleagues who are bright, ambitious, and genuinely supportive. Specialists who do their best work together, sharing ideas, moving fast, and holding themselves to a high bar.
Whether you're starting out or stepping up, you'll get genuine investment in your development through our internal academy, real variety in your work, and a direct impact on some of the biggest names in the industry. Competitive benefits, flexible working, and a team that has your back.
We were named Marketing Services Supplier of the Year at the EGR B2B Awards 2026, and Best Medium Agency to Work For at the Company Culture Awards 2025 — recognition for the work we do and the place we've built to do it.
If you live and breathe sport and can write about it with authority, pace, and genuine flair, this role was built for you. As a Sports Content Writer at Receptional you'll be producing content for iGaming clients — sports betting, casino, and online gaming brands — where the quality of the writing genuinely matters and the topics actually interest you.
It's a role with real variety: you'll be writing across formats, contributing to content calendars, sub-editing colleagues' work, and developing your SEO skills alongside your craft. If you're looking for somewhere that will invest in your development and take your writing seriously, this is worth a look.
This is a hands-on writing role where sport is the subject matter and quality is non-negotiable. You'll be producing content for iGaming clients across a range of formats — from betting guides and sports previews to landing page copy and international market content — working to editorial standards that clients trust and publishers respect. You'll also be contributing to the wider content team: subediting colleagues' work, joining ideation sessions, and helping deliver client content calendars on time.
In practice, that looks like:
- Writing high-quality sports content for iGaming clients across multiple formats and platforms — always to brief, always on brand
- Researching niche topics and target audiences to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and genuinely useful
- Contributing actively to ideation sessions — bringing your sports knowledge and creative thinking to the table
- Proofreading and sub-editing colleagues' content to a consistently high standard
- Writing and repurposing content for international markets where required
- Contributing to client content calendars and supporting delivery against agreed timelines
- Attending client calls and meetings as required
- Producing internal resources and marketing materials for the content team and wider business
You'll need to be a genuinely strong writer with a real passion for sport — not just an interest in it. iGaming content demands accuracy, pace, and the ability to write with authority across a wide range of sports topics for audiences who know their stuff. You'll also need to be organised enough to manage multiple briefs simultaneously and receptive enough to take editorial feedback and act on it quickly.
Essential:
- A genuine passion for sport and the ability to write about it with authority and flair
- Demonstrable writing ability — you'll be asked to provide examples at interview
- Comfortable using AI tools to support and enhance your writing workflow — Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent
- Excellent organisational and time management skills — you manage multiple briefs without missing deadlines
- A positive attitude and genuine hunger to develop your craft
Desirable:
- A degree in Journalism, English, or a related discipline — or equivalent writing experience
- Some understanding of SEO fundamentals — headings, metadata, content optimisation
- Ability to write for international markets or in additional languages
- Familiarity with iGaming or sports betting content
