Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking to add an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson to our growing team. As a Multi-trade Operative, you’ll play a vital role carrying out repairs and works on extensions, subsidence, fire and flood damage, working in both occupied and empty properties, you’ll complete a broad range of repairs and works which, dependent on your specialisms, may include:

Carpentry & joinery – Fitting doors, kitchens, floorboards.
Brickwork – Brick and blockwork crack repairs
Plumbing – Fitting bathroom suites, radiators.
Plastering – Whole walls, ceilings, crack repairs or rooms.
Decorating – Painting walls, ceiling, and woodwork.

What’re we looking for? You’ll be a talented multi-skilled tradesperson. who has a main trade complemented by skills across one or more other trades. You’ll also have a sound knowledge of site safety and safe working practices and a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be a real team player but also have the ability to work on your own initiative.

Own transport and tools are essential, along with reliability. Willing to travel as work is in Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford and surrounding villages.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, chisels, etc., and power tools including grinders, drills, and saws.
Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to different tasks.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team environment.

Pay: £170.00-£200.00 per day
