We are currently working on a site in Warrington WA5, and are looking for an experienced Dozer Driver, GPS experiance essential trimming stone and general prep of areas 3 months work for right candidate with good communication skills.
You must have a minimum of five years site experience a valid CPCS/NPORS card and your own transport.
All other training relevant to the role will be provided along with PPE.
Key Skills & Competencies
- GPS Machine Control Systems (e.g. Trimble, Topcon, Leica)
- Bulk earthworks & fine grading
- Site preparation and land levelling
- Reading and interpreting site drawings and digital models
- Working to tight tolerances
- Daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Strong awareness of site safety procedures (RAMS)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating bulldozers on construction or civils sites
- Proven track record using GPS-guided dozers for:
- Cut & fill operations
- Road formation
- Drainage works
- Finishing works to specification
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or housing projects preferred
Certifications & Training
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or above)
- CPCS / NPORS Dozer Operator Ticket (essential)
- GPS system training certification (Trimble / Topcon / Leica preferred)
- Health & Safety training (e.g. Site Safety, Manual Handling, or equivalent)
Additional Requirements
- Good understanding of construction site procedures
- Ability to follow site plans and digital models accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Typical Duties
- Operate dozer using GPS control systems to achieve accurate grading
- Perform pre-start checks and maintain equipment
- Follow engineer’s specifications and site plans
- Work safely in line with site rules and regulations
- Coordinate with groundworkers, engineers, and site supervisors
Site working hours 7:30-17.00
