At ICAHT, the patient experience starts long before treatment begins.
Whether it’s a phone call before booking or greeting somebody as they walk through the door, you will help set the tone of the clinic by creating a warm, calm and welcoming atmosphere where patients immediately feel comfortable and cared for.
Many of our patients attend the clinic regularly, some weekly and others monthly, meaning you become a familiar and trusted part of their journey alongside their practitioner.
We are a holistic clinic, offering a range of treatment modalities including chiropractic, hijama, cupping therapy, acupuncture and fascial release. We work differently to many clinics by combining multiple treatment approaches within one session to help patients address the root cause of their issues and achieve long-term results.
And yes ... of course you get to experience the treatment interventions we offer as part of your employment!
Skills & Qualities You need…
Sales
A strong sales ability and a good understanding of how to communicate our value in a natural and professional way.
Not every patient needs to be “sold to”, but when appropriate, you should feel confident guiding conversations, explaining treatment packages and recommending suitable products or ongoing care options while maintaining the calm and welcoming tone of the clinic.
Confidence
Confidence is essential, particularly during events where one of your key responsibilities will be encouraging people to come over and speak with practitioners.
You do not need expert anatomical or treatment knowledge, but you should feel comfortable speaking confidently about the clinic, what we offer and how we help people.
Positive Communication
Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
We are looking for somebody who can build genuine rapport with patients, remember details about their lives and create a personalised experience that makes people feel valued and cared for. Something as simple as following up on a conversation from a previous appointment can make a huge difference to a patient’s experience!
Organisation
You will be responsible for helping manage the Bristol clinic diary and ensuring everything runs efficiently throughout the day.
This includes avoiding double bookings, understanding where patients are within their treatment journey, communicating important notes to practitioners, following up with late patients and keeping the clinic organised overall. Strong organisation is essential to keeping the clinic operating smoothly.

Interest In Health & Wellness
Our philosophy at ICAHT is to seek long-term health, as you’re one of the first points of contact for patients, it’s important that you genuinely have an interest in health, wellness and helping people improve their quality of life…. Yes, we do have chocolate biscuits with our tea, and skip training sometimes but as an overall the ICAHT team all have individual passions for physical and mental health that is natural to promote to our patients.
Role
This is a part-time role based inside the clinic on Thursdays from 11am – 5pm. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, managing the clinic diary, responding to emails, supporting the patient journey, selling treatment packages and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly day-to-day.
Within the next few months, the role is expected to increase to include Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. There is also be opportunities for additional ad-hoc clinic hours outside of Thursday currently.
Alongside working within the clinic, we attend 1–2 events each month to connect with potential new patients. These events may take place on weekdays, evenings or weekends. Your role at these events will include greeting attendees, speaking confidently about the clinic, collecting contact details, booking consultations and helping practitioners engage with potential patients in a friendly and approachable way.
Starting salary for this role is £13 + commission from packages sold, but this is dependent on experience and can be discussed.
