Job description

We are looking to recruit new team members to join our leading manufacturing facility in Blackwood on a in various departments, starting as production operators. These roles will require working shifts.

8-hour shifts (rolling morning/afternoon/nights pattern) [15% shift allowance] as follows;

Week 1: Days, Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
Week 2: Nights, Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00
Week 3: Afternoons, Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00

Salary: £25,334.28 plus 15% shift allowance (£3,800.14) = £29,134.42

The Role:

To maximise the machine output through good manufacturing practices and to work with other team members to meet targets and continuously improve manufacturing performance.

to feed machines with blanks and/or pack finished products
keep the machines supplied with materials
to work with the team in order to achieve manufacturing targets
identification and accurate reporting of manufacturing problems and initiate corrective actions
maintain agreed standards of cleanliness of machine and work area
other duties as reasonably requested
