Job Overview
We are seeking a Wood Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various woodworking machinery, ensuring precision in all tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your knowledge and craftsmanship in a dynamic environment. The Wood Machinist will work closely with design and production teams to deliver high-quality wooden products, adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate woodworking machinery, saws, and run it through the moulder.
Ability to read detailed cutting lists is essential..
Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving timber or other raw materials within the workshop.
Conduct basic measurements and calculations'.
Assist with assembly processes, ensuring parts fit correctly and meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Experience in woodworking environment an advantage.
Competence in using hand tools and materials handling equipment safely and effectively.
This role provides an engaging environment for individuals passionate about woodworking craftsmanship, offering opportunities for skill development within a professional setting.

Hours of work

Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm

Friday 7am - 12pm
