Senior Sous Chef
Job Summary

While the role will predominantly be restaurant and banquet-focused, you will be managing the entire kitchen operations with the help of Sous Chef and Operations Manager, as well as take on other duties within the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the kitchen team with day-to-day kitchen operations
- Help drive service at the highest level, ensuring consistent quality standards are maintained
- Train junior members of the team
- Ensure that the highest standards are consistently met and delivered
- Implementing COSHH and Health & Safety regulations
- Maintain a consistently smooth-running operation
- Continuously check food quality and presentation coming from the kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a kitchen environment
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and leading a medium-sized team
- Outstanding work ethic, with a guest-focused and service-driven approach
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certification
Desirable:
- Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and labour productivity
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef
- Working knowledge of Procure Wizard
