Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated PGA Assistant Professional to join our dynamic golf team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about golf, sports coaching, and teaching. The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality coaching and support to members and guests, contributing to the overall success of the club’s programmes. This paid position is ideal for those looking to develop their career within the golf industry while gaining valuable experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with organising and delivering golf coaching sessions for players of all ages and abilities
Support the Head Professional in managing daily club activities and member engagement programmes
Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Help maintain the organisation of golf facilities, including equipment and practice areas
Contribute to club events, tournaments, and promotional activities
Support junior golf programmes and assist with youth coaching initiatives
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, sportsmanship, and safety on the course and within club premises

Skills

Proven experience or strong interest in sports coaching and teaching within a golf environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct players effectively
Organised with strong attention to detail in managing coaching schedules and club operations
Ability to work well as part of a team whilst also demonstrating initiative independently
Passionate about developing golfers’ skills and enhancing their overall experience
A recognised PGA qualification or working towards one is preferred but not essential; relevant experience is highly valued

This position offers an enriching environment for aspiring golf professionals eager to advance their careers through hands-on coaching, programme management, and customer engagement.
