Role Information

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to be the first point of contact for IT support across the business.

This is a full time, permeant position, coming into our Burton 3 days a week,

As a key member of our IT Service Desk, you’ll:

Act as the first line of support for all IT queries and incidents
Provide support via phone, in-person, and remote tools
Log, manage and resolve tickets within agreed SLAs
Take ownership of issues through to resolution or escalation
Support and administer core technologies such as:
Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, D365
Carry out user account administration (setups, permissions, password resets)
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across devices
Assist with asset and licence management
Contribute to improving first-time fix rates and knowledge sharing
Keep documentation and knowledge bases up to date

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience in an IT Service Desk or customer support role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, O365, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, SCCM)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Solid troubleshooting and analytical ability
Experience supporting end-user devices (laptops, desktops, mobiles, tablets)
