Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain/Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the supply chain team and delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with queries from our E Commerce website and checking our social media to ensure that all other queries/comments are responded to.

Responsibilities

Process all customer orders through Unleashed accurately and within the agreed 24-hour window
Maintain accurate stock data and master data in Unleashed and ensure alignment with the 3PL/Distribution Centre
Act as the daily point of contact with the 3PL on dispatch, stock levels and delivery exceptions
Handle customer delivery queries, failures and returns through to full resolution
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and product movement on-site and between sites
Produce and circulate routine supply chain reports (sales, stock, OTIF) from Unleashed for management
Support continuous improvement and SOP development across the supply chain function
Deal with customers on the telephone and respond to emails and assist them with their enquiries over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Provide information about products, services and expected deliveries ensuring customers are well-informed
Manage customer portals to ensure consistent customer service is maintained
Monitor our social media to ensure that any queries/comments are responded to in addition to our customer portal
Manage time efficiently to ensure all customer needs are attended to promptly during busy periods
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Assist with inventory checks as required
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure excellent customer experience is a positive one

Skills and Knowledge

Previous experience in supply chain, order processing and customer service is essential
IT literate and knowledge of customer portals used in customer service
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
Organised, reliable, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.91 per hour
