Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Qualified Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is fully paid and requires a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
Diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete projects accurately.
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and safety procedures.
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out installations and repairs.
Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications.
Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Documenting work performed accurately in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a qualified electrician with a strong background in electrical installations and maintenance.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring regulations and safety standards.
Relevant certification or licence to operate as a qualified electrician within the UK (ECS Gold Card & NVQ Level 3 Certificate) .
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
