About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a residential care home in the Eden area on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating and sustaining an environment where people feel safe, respected and genuinely at home, while ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
You will have overall responsibility for the operational management of the service, including leadership of staff, safeguarding, quality assurance, CQC compliance and financial management. Working closely with senior leaders, professionals, families and partner agencies, you will provide stability and continuity during the fixed‑term period, supporting both staff and the people who live in the home.

A Registered Manager who can lead a residential care service with confidence, compassion and professionalism, keeping people and their lived experience at the centre of decision‑making.
You will:
- Be a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (or eligible and willing to register)
- Have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements
- Demonstrate effective leadership and people‑management skills
- Be able to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and compliance
