About the Role:

At Bismillah Integrated Services Partners Ltd, we believe that strong business services are the foundation of every successful organisation. We are looking for a Director of Business Services who can take ownership of our operational strategy and lead the continued development of our business support functions. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can improve processes, manage teams, support client relationships, and ensure that departments work together efficiently.

You will be responsible for overseeing key business service areas, strengthening internal systems, and helping the company deliver consistent, high quality service. You are not just managing daily operations; you are shaping how the business runs, grows, and serves its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Services Leadership:

Oversee the delivery of core business services across operations, administration, client support, facilities, and internal service functions.

Operational Strategy:

Develop and implement practical business plans that improve efficiency, service quality, and overall company performance.

Team Management:

Lead, support, and develop managers and team leaders across different departments. Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and encourage accountability.

Process Improvement:

Review current procedures, identify gaps, and introduce better systems for reporting, communication, workflow, and service delivery.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, internal leaders, and external partners. Ensure expectations are managed professionally and service standards are maintained.

Financial and Resource Planning:

Support budget planning, cost control, staffing decisions, and resource allocation to ensure business services are delivered effectively.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure business activities follow company policies, legal requirements, health and safety standards, and internal quality procedures.

Performance Reporting:

Prepare regular reports for senior management covering service performance, operational risks, team productivity, and improvement plans.

Experience:

Strong experience in business services, operations management, office management, facilities management, or a similar leadership role. Previous director level or senior management experience is preferred.

Leadership Skills:

You are confident leading managers and teams, setting direction, solving problems, and making decisions in a professional business environment.

Commercial Awareness:

You understand budgets, staffing needs, service standards, and the importance of balancing cost control with quality delivery.

Communication:

You can communicate clearly with staff, clients, suppliers, and senior stakeholders. You are comfortable handling meetings, reports, and business discussions.

Organisation:

You are highly organised and able to manage multiple departments, priorities, and deadlines without losing attention to detail.

Problem Solving:

You take a practical approach to challenges and can identify solutions that improve how the business operates.
