Dylan Oaks is one of the UK & Ireland’s fastest-growing jewellery brands. We are looking to add to our team of high performers based in Belfast to continue to drive forward our mission and support the growth through the rest of 2026 and beyond.
Due to this recent growth, we’ve been making changes to our long-term strategy in order to drive efficient expansion of our Operations. We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Junior Operations & Finance Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy order fulfilment operation, while also providing key support across finance, reporting, recruitment and wider business operations.
This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in operations leadership who is ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring orders are dispatched efficiently, stock accuracy is maintained, teams are well supported, and key business processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the order fulfilment centre, ensuring orders are dispatched efficiently, accurately and in line with customer commitments.
- Support and manage warehouse colleagues, including rota planning, holidays, training, appraisals and performance during peak trading periods.
- Maintain high operational standards across stock accuracy, order quality, cleanliness, safety, consumables and packaging.
- Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, fulfilment time, accuracy and stock integrity, using reports to support business decisions.
- Work closely with retail teams, couriers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth stock movement and operational support.
- Support recruitment and onboarding for operational roles, including job adverts, candidate communication and induction preparation.
- Assist with key finance processes, with full training provided, including credit control, booking & overall support to the finance manager.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall efficiency across the operation.
Essential
- Three years experience in logistics or operations leadership.
- Experience managing or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of order fulfilment, dispatch, stock control and operational KPIs.
- Confident planning rotas, holidays and labour requirements around business demand.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using warehouse systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work well under pressure, particularly during peak trading periods.
- High attention to detail with strong standards around accuracy, safety and cleanliness.
- Proactive, flexible and comfortable supporting a lean, fast-moving business
- Interest in developing across both operations and finance functions.
Desirable
- Degree in a business, finance or related discipline.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding or colleague development.
- Experience with finance administration, reconciliations, Xero or bookkeeping.
- Experience in bookkeeping using Xero software, to include bank reconciliations, credit control etc.
- Experience working within retail, e-commerce or a multi-site operation.
