Full job description

POST TITLE: Freelance Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

RESPONSIBLE TO: Lead Practitioner

LOCATION BASED: Belfast, with travel to surrounding areas.

JOB PURPOSE: To undertake wellbeing events at client venues across a designated area. Training will be provided in our specific products and services. A base knowledge of and qualification in health and physiology is essential.

PAY RATE: £250 -£270 per day (self employed, freelance)

HOURS: Monday to Friday, as and when required

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivering Workplace Wellbeing Days: After initial induction training, you will be mainly working solo to deliver health and wellbeing days for clients in their workplaces. These events range from health screens to general health promotion events and require a professional, people centred focus, working within New Leaf Health protocols to NICE guidelines.
Data management - Each event has an element of individuals health data capture which you will be responsible for. Data is anonymously captured and needs to be sent securely to the Operations Team for further analysis.
Equipment care & maintenance - You will be issued with specific health check equipment which is your responsibility to keep clean and well maintained. Keeping a check on your own levels of consumable stock for use at events is essential.
Submitting your monthly invoice for work undertaken

Experience

Experience of working within the health and wellbeing spectrum is required. Lifestyle behaviour change qualifications and presenting skills highly desirable.

Personal Qualities

An excellent customer focused manner at all times, naturally comfortable in being professional, polite and courteous when dealing with our clients

Being flexible and adaptable in terms of hours worked and duties undertaken, prepared to travel further afield on occasion

Self motivated, proactive and able to work under pressure, mostly without direct management

To be able to blend into a team when required to deliver larger events, working collaboratively.

THIS IS A FREELANCE ROLE AND WORK IS ALLOCATED BASED ON SKILL SET, LOCATION AND AVAILABILITY.
